Grinch or Santa?

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe that you are correct in not allowing Christmas in the classroom. It could be offensive to non-christians, and, I mean, really, do they also have a Hanukkah party? Ramadan? What about Yom Kippur? No. So why should Christian kids get a party and not Muslim or Jewish children? Some may argue "Oh, they can just participate in the christmas party!" This statement is wrong, because most faiths don't want their children to participate in a different faith's ceremonies. I've also seen people use the argument that "America was founded on Christian principles, so we should allow kids to celebrate christmas",  when in reality, America's Treaty with Tripoli in 1797 declared "The government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion." It was drafted under George Washington, with administration and ratification by the U.S. Senate, endorsed by the secretary of state, and signed by President Adams.

Therefore, there is no reason for Christmas to be celebrated in the classroom!
